Why a Delaware LLC?
A Delaware LLC is the most common structure for non-US founders selling to US customers. Pass-through taxation means the company itself doesn't pay federal income tax, and Delaware imposes no state income tax on income earned outside the state.

Frequently asked
Do I need to be in the US to form a Delaware LLC?
No. Delaware LLCs are non-residency-restricted — there's no requirement to be a US citizen, resident, or even visit the US. We file remotely on your behalf using your passport and address proof.
What is an EIN and do I need one?
An EIN (Employer Identification Number) is your LLC's federal tax ID — the equivalent of a business PAN in India. You'll need it to open a US bank account, accept payments through Stripe US, or hire contractors. We include EIN application in every plan.
Will I have US tax filing obligations?
A single-member LLC is treated as a disregarded entity for US federal tax — the LLC itself doesn't file a federal income tax return. The owner reports the income on their personal return. Multi-member LLCs file Form 1065. We can connect you with a US tax accountant after formation.
Why Delaware over other states?
Delaware's Court of Chancery has 200+ years of business case law, making LLC operating agreements predictable to enforce. It also imposes no state income tax on income earned outside Delaware, no sales tax, and minimal annual fees ($300/yr franchise tax).
Can I open a US bank account remotely?
Yes, with the right setup. Our Pro plan includes bank account opening assistance with partners like Mercury and Relay that support international founders. Approval is at the bank's discretion but our success rate is high.
Do I need a registered agent?
Yes — Delaware requires every LLC to have a registered agent with a Delaware street address. We include a registered agent for the first year in every plan, renewable annually.
Can I get a refund if I change my mind?
Yes — full refund any time before we submit your filing to the government registry. Government fees become non-refundable once paid out on your behalf. See our refund policy for the full details.
How is my data protected?
All KYC documents are encrypted at rest in Vercel Blob with private access tokens. Payments go directly through Stripe or Razorpay — we never see or store full card details. The platform runs on Vercel with TLS 1.2+ enforced end-to-end.
What happens after I pay?
We start preparing your filing within 1 business day. You'll see live status in your dashboard, plus email updates at submission, registry approval, and certificate issuance. A real specialist reviews every application before submission.
