SimplySetup Pvt Ltd (India) / Aspera Pte Ltd (Singapore)(“we”, “us”, “SimplySetup”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

1.1 Information you provide

• Account — name, email, phone number (via our auth provider, Clerk).
• Business intake — founder details, residential address, business name preferences, business activity, capital details.
• KYC documents — government-issued ID (passport, PAN), address proof (utility bill, bank statement), and other documents required by the relevant registry.
• Payment — billing email and the last four digits of your card (returned by Stripe / Razorpay). We never see or store full card numbers, CVVs, or bank credentials.

1.2 Information collected automatically

• Log data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referrer URL.
• Device info: operating system, screen resolution.
• Cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We use only essential and analytics cookies.

2. How we use your information

• To create your account and authenticate you.
• To prepare and submit filings with government registries on your behalf.
• To process payments and issue invoices.
• To send transactional emails (order confirmations, status updates).
• To respond to support requests.
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
• To comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

3. Who we share with

We share personal data only with:

• Government registries and authorities — MCA (India), Companies House (UK), Delaware Division of Corporations (US), ACRA (Singapore), IFZA (UAE), and equivalent bodies, as required to complete your filing.
• Service providers who help us run the platform:
  • Clerk — authentication
  • Neon — database hosting
  • Vercel — application hosting and file storage (Vercel Blob)
  • Stripe and Razorpay — payment processing
  • Resend — transactional email
  Each is bound by a data processing agreement and may only use your data to provide their service to us.
• Professional advisors (lawyers, accountants, registered agents) where required for your filing.
• Law enforcement or regulators when legally compelled.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Where your data is stored

Our database is hosted on Neon in the Asia Pacific (Singapore) region. Documents are stored in Vercel Blob with private access. Backups and logs may be processed in regions where our providers operate. By using the Service you consent to your data being processed in these regions.

5. How long we keep data

• Account data — for as long as your account is active.
• Filed application records — at least 7 years after the filing, to meet statutory record-keeping requirements in India.
• Payment records — at least 7 years, to comply with tax and accounting laws.
• Marketing preferences — until you opt out.

6. Security

• All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+).
• Documents are encrypted at rest in Vercel Blob with private access tokens.
• Database access is restricted to authenticated production roles and audited.
• Payment processing happens directly between your browser and Stripe / Razorpay; we never receive raw card data.
• Administrative access requires email-based two-factor authentication.

7. Your rights

You can:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or out-of-date information.
• Delete your account (subject to statutory retention requirements above).
• Export a copy of your data in a machine-readable format.
• Withdraw consent for non-essential processing at any time.

To exercise any of these, email sales@simplysetup.co from the email registered on your account. We respond within 30 days.

8. Children

Our Service is not directed to persons under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Third-party links

Our Service may contain links to third-party sites (e.g. government registries, payment providers). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites — please review their policies.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified to you by email or via the dashboard at least 7 days before they take effect.
